The Lower Rhine even has its own museum here
And it is currently reinventing itself. The LVR Lower Rhine Museum Wesel is becoming a museum for families with a permanent exhibition full of stories about life by the river - modern, media-based and full of emotion. And international, with a view to our neighbours in the Netherlands and Belgium!
During the renovation period in 2024, guests can learn all about handball in NRW in special exhibitions and about the Hanseatic era in an exhibition made of LEGO® bricks.
